Title- The Iron Queen
Series- The Daughters of Zeus Book # 3
By- Kaitlin Bevis
Genre- YA Paranormal
Blurb-
Life is hell for Persephone. Zeus will stop at nothing to gain
access to the living realm and the Underworld, and as the only living god with
a right to both, Persephone’s in trouble. Captured and tortured beyond the
limits of her resolve, Persephone must find the power to stand against Zeus.
But will she be strong enough?
Meanwhile, Hades contemplates desperate measures to rescue his
queen. Persephone never thought of herself as dangerous, but there’s a reason
gods never marry for love. A being with the power to destroy all of creation
shouldn’t place more value in one individual than the rest of the planet. But
Hades...Hades would break the world for her.
To save the world and stop both Hades and Zeus, Persephone must
make a difficult choice. One that may cost her everything.

CHARACTER BIO: HADES
Hades has been around for a long time. He's a major deity that rules a third of creation. His third is the Underworld, but that doesn't make him a bad guy. He cares very deeply about the residents of his realm and goes out of his way to make them comfortable. His advisors (mostly Cassandra) routinely tease him about his collection of self-help and "psycho-babble" books. He's kind and fair to the gods in his realm, but of course, he does have a dark side Needless to say, he's nothing like Persephone expected based on the myths.
Speaking of Persephone, he didn't kidnap her, he saved her from Boreas, and made it very clear she was free to come and go from the Underworld as she pleased, though leaving during the winter would probably be a bad idea. The longer the two get to know each other, the more Hades grows to care about Persephone, but those feelings leave him very conflicted. She's much younger than he is, and since he's saved her life a few times he worries that any move on his part would be taking advantage.
