Ashton Garrison walked away from a privileged life in order to hide from the one thing she's not willing to face. She knows she left behind a trail of pain, but in the long run, her betrayal will hurt less than the truth. She now has one goal: Live life to the fullest with no regrets and no attachments. She has high hopes that a move to new surroundings will provide the escape she desires, but what Ashton doesn't count on is how fate always seems to find a way to screw up any good plan. Sometimes, when love comes knocking, the pull is too strong not to answer. Suddenly, what she thought she wanted to escape from is what Ashton now wants more than anything.
Nathan Lockton has one mission: find his target and complete the task he was hired to do—no attachments and noemotion necessary. He's done it over and over again. What he thought was a typical lost-and-found job has turned into a life examining moment as Nathan is forced to deal with something he has always ignored--his feelings. Now faced with a decision, Nathan must choose to either follow his heart or complete the job.
Love can come when you least expect it. The question is: If the odds are stacked against you, how far are you willing to go for the one you love?

Interview:
Ashton
Really what did you think when you first saw Nathan?
I'm not
going to lie. I thought he was completely hot when I first saw him. He was
cocky as hell, but I kind of liked that about him. He wasn't like any of the
guys back home.
When Nathan and you came up with the agreement, did you
really think it would last?
I hoped
it would. Maybe I was naïve to think that, but I also
knew I wasn't looking to be involved in a relationship that was anything but
casual. Given the fact that we hit it off right away, I guess the heart wants
what the heart wants. No matter how hard I tried to keep it from becoming
something more than our no attachments agreement, my feelings would surface
again.
How awesome is Fran? Why did you feel that you could
confide in her?
I freaking
love Fran. She accepted me with no qualms or judgements. We hit it off right
away, so I felt I owed it to her to lay out all the facts from the very
beginning. In a way, she and I are able to talk much like my mom and I had
before she passed away.
Since I asked about Fran you know I have to ask about
Tressa and Brittni. How did you meet these lovable and crazy-awesome girls?
Brittni's
mom is the nosiest person you will ever meet. It's like she has a radar for any
new people coming into town. It felt like I barely had time to unpack and there
they were, looking for all the deets on me. We wound up hitting it off
immediately and have been practically inseparable since then.
I love your bucket list!! Is there anything on there that
you have not done yet?
LOL, it
keeps growing. The list sort of has new meaning now, and Nathan has made it his
mission to keep adding to it. A recent favorite of mine is a camping trip we
took last week in the mountains. Living in Florida all my life, I never had any
desire to go camping. Now that we're in Woodfalls for the summer, camping was
very appealing when you're not worrying about bugs and snakes creeping into
your sleeping bag with you.
Now, Tiffany King is pretty awesome, is she planning on any
more books of your story or possible spin off of other characters? *whispers*
It is ok to tell I won’t say anything…
*wink*
Ummm, I'm
not sure if it's a secret or not, but I think she might have something up her
sleeve with Brittni. Maybe around July. There might even be a clue on her blog,
*wink wink.
