Well, let me start from the beginning. Flo LOVES the Vampire Diaries (more than anything) and I was seeing her tweets about it, but I never watched the series or read any of the books. So, one night on Netflix I saw that the first 2 seasons were on there and I thought "Why not?!" O.M.G I was hooked! I wanted more of Stefan, Damion, and Elena I just could not get enough and all the characters were amazing!
Then I figured I should read the books. (Y'all know how much I love my series). I was warned that the books were much different than the series but that does not bother me that much. I WAS WRONG!
The Book series SUCKS! I am not meaning that in a good way either. They are nothing like the series and I could not wait to the first book was O-V-E-R! The only reason that I kept reading was because I was hoping that it would get better. WRONG AGAIN! The plot is kind-of the same but the characters (up to include their personalities) are so much different that it was just WRONG!
I am just going to stick to the series on the CW and stay away from the books!

Flo I heard that it was OK that is why I have not started that one yet....
DeleteThe first too were o.k., but the 3rd and 4th were TERRIBLE! I just stopped after that. I will be sticking to just the show from now on as well. I can't get enough of Ian Somerhalder (Mr. Smolder).
